Webinars are a good idea if you are looking for some marketing skills for free. Marketing webinars will discuss how to market yourself online and to potential clients. Since gaining clients can be difficult to do if you have a lot of different law offices in your city, you will need to figure out an edge. Webinars discuss the current legal climate and what proactive law firms are doing in order to gain customers. Attend a free legal marketing webinar or two in order to get some tips on how to fit your own office into the market. 

Go with business casual

Lawyers are often synchronized with three-piece suits, which can appear overly formal. Though these will be necessary while in court, you may not need to wear them around the office. Implement a business casual dress rule in the office. Everyone can wear a button down and slacks, rather than having to wear a suit throughout the day. Workers inside of the office can also wear khaki slacks or casual dresses with a cardigan, rather than a suit. Take photographs for your legal marketing photographs in business casual dress. If potential clients come in casual dress, they will not feel out of place speaking with your law office. 

Offer video sessions

If you represent clients who travel often or those who may have a disability, it is a good idea to market video sessions to clients. This way, those who cannot leave their home and those who may not be in the city will be able to keep in contact with you about any of their casework and legal needs. Be sure to market your video meetings as a part of the service any client may take part in at your law firm. This will attract out of town clients who may need an attorney with your expertise.
